I have never seen one of these gizmos your talking about, but would sure like to see one of the new shark rockets.......some kind of rocket propelled shark dart......good for big dangerous fish....groupers, jew fish......barrcuda.....tech instructors..anything that bites :rofl3:
 
I dont know about the groupers, but some of these other fish you named have bark that is much worse than their bite.

I am aware of the bang stick. This is a much different thing. As Nemrod stated, it was touted as non-lethal for the predator. As far as I know it did not use a munition of any kind, only a spring. I saw it once 35 years ago and never saw or heard of it again.
