I was just wondering what some of your methods for rigging stage bottles where. I currently just use a banded carabinner at the bottom and tie the second carabinner to the base of the valve. It works good, but I was wondering about some of the other ways, especially the DIR way. I don't understand the DIR rigging at all.

I don't understand the DIR rigging at all.

Its very simple. Boltsnap at the top tied, one at the bottom banded and tied.

Carabiners aren't used.

Probably the two most important concerns to the DIR way are as follows:

1. Only use sliding bolt snaps on the bottle, or any of your gear for that matter so that they cannot accidentally catch anything.

2. Make sure that there is NO metal-to-metal contact. This is so that if your bottle does get entangled on something or the bolt snap jams and will not open, you can cut the bottle from your body.

Sorry I ment to write I use bolt snaps...had something else on my mind.... Thanks for the website!
