SOLA aims for middle shoe. Inon strobes on 8 and 5 inch arms. I can fit 2 square floats on the 8 inch arms on both sides

HELP - tomorrow I start 2 back-to-back liveaboards (Brothers+Deep South in the Red Sea...so no internet!) and I need some last-minute advice on setting my Sea&Sea YS-D1 so it works best with my Sony RX-100 (Nauticam housing and Sola 2000 S/F).

I have used the Sony RX100 for some time with and without my Sola 2000 S/F, but only yesterday did I add the Sea&Sea YS-D1.
I connected strobe and camera with a standard fiberoptic cable and played around with ½ hour in hotel pool.

TTL - is that the best setting for the Sea&Sea YS-D1 if used in conjunction with a Sony RX100??
Or should I go for ordinary slave mode?

Also what mode should I put on the Sony RX100 when used in conjunction with the Sea&Sea YS-D1?
So far I have primarily used the full manual mode on the Sony RX100...but now I want to try make best use of my new Sea&Sea YS-D1!

The RX100 does not work well with the strobe in slave mode as the internal flash is always in TTL and there is no way to have it at minimum power

Set the strobe to TTL full and switch the flash on or off from the camera

Manual works fine there will be situation where you you need the focus light to see what you are shooting but other than that piece of cake
