Has anyone seen any good movies this summer? I haven't had much time to go to any this summer. There's a lot that I want to go see, but not sure what I should spend my money on.

I saw Mr. Deeds not too long ago, and it was entertaining. Some people don't like Adam Sandler, but often it's the 'annoying' Adam Sandler, and that wasn't present in the movie. It was one of his best ones [ranking up with Happy Gilmore and Big Daddy].

I stopped in to possibly catch MIBII last thursday. I didn't have a schedule so I was going to see when it was playing. I got there, and gave a buddy a call to see if he wanted to come down. He did, so we wouldn't have been able to make MIBII, so instead we checked out Minority Report. I wasn't expecting much, and the movie completely surprised me.. it was one of the best movies I've seen recently!

My wife and I saw MIBII over the Fourth of July weekend. It was cute. You will enjoy it if you enjoyed the first movie and don't expect too much more from this one.

unless it's Sony your Summer films will be our winter films, or maybe next spring! Minority Report for instance comes out in mid December - some things out here suck!

During our dive trip this past weekend we rented:

Dogma
Spies Like Us
Space Balls
and Muppet Treasure Island

Spies like Us is a severely underrated flick.

I just saw MIBII and didn't think it was good at all. For that matter, I didn't think Minority Report was all it was cracked up to be either. Bourne Identity was pretty entertaining though. We are taking our daughter (that's my excuse to see all the kiddies flicks) The Crocodile Hunter movie this week.

<gears grinding> Isn't Spies Like Us an old Chevy Chase film from the 80's?

It is! But it is SOOO funny! And since we're on "older" movies- Dogma is absolutely hillarious. (I have it on DVD.) As a good Catholic girl- I should be offended, but it just cracked me up too much to be bothered by it!

Haven't seen any good summer movies but I just got done watching moulin rouge for the second time.... It sucked just as badly this time. I know you woner why I watched it a second time if it sucked the first time. I just wanted to give it a chance. Some movies are better the second time.... NOT this one. What does everyone else think? Have you seen it? did you like it?

I have been avoiding Nicloe Kidman and for that matter, Tom Cruise movies since they both turned into porn stars and promptly got a divorce. It's so sad, really. I used to enjoy some of Tom's work. I think the only Nicole Kidman movie I ever liked was "The Others."

The Bourne Identity wasn't too bad.
