I sent a file to Suunto to have them trouble shoot the reason SDM crashes when I scroll through the dive if the Graph window is open. They are trying to help me with it but no luck so far. In their replay was a suggestion to download SDM 1.6. I went to the regular Suunto web site (www.suunto.com) and the latest was 1.5.1. I then re-read the email it it said to go to www.suuntosports.com , login and go to MySuunto > Downloads. Sure enough their it is. It didn't help with my problem and I didn't notice anything different but I have an email in asking what the changes are.

Please update us when you get a response...

This is what I sent them:

"Hello,
I have been using Dive Manager since purchasing my Vytec. Ever since I
started using it it always crashed during certain circumstances. I will
try to explain in detail how it happens. Also, I have attached TWO
files. The .sdl file is my logbook and the .~dl is a file that gets
created whenever the program crashes.

SDM ONLY crashes when I have the Graph Profile showing, If I switch
between dives it will crash. sometimes it crashes switching from the
first entry and sometimes I can go for a minute or two and then it crashes.

My system is 450mhz P4 processor. 256mb ram. 16gb hard drive with 4.4 gb
free. Windows 2000 SP4. SDM 1.51

I have ruled out a bad installation or corrupt system software. I have
done this by reformatting and reloading my operating system completely
and reloading SDM on the clean drive. I have opened the example.sdl
that comes with SDM and I can not make this file crash.

What is it about the graph in this file that might make SDM crash?"

HUM don't sound right "450mhz P4 processor"
that sounds like more a Pent 2 maybe Pent3
well not sure I can open mine and switch back and for fine lets see if anyone else posts and has same trouble .

Not sure if ive lost the ability to read or not but i cant see SDM for download anywhere on suuntosports.com.

All i can see is a very ugly flash or equally ugly html site with no links.

If someone can direct link it or tell me where to click id appreciate it.
