Tacloban to Pintuyan

Hi all,

We will land at Tacloban airport and want to travel to Pintuyan for 2-3 days, then back to Tacloban airport.

The info on buses/vans is very scarce. We know that the usual route goes to San Ricardo or we have to change in Sogod, but we couldn't confirm any details of the schedule there/back.

We have considered renting a car, but it seems a tough road. We stay in a Hotel that does not offer transfer options

Does anyone have contacts for private transport? Or more details on how regularly buses and vans travel Tacloban <-> San Ricardo?

Sorry just seeing this - ask your hotel where the closest puv terminal to Sogod is. Buy yourself 2 seats each if traveling by van. Trust me. When you get to Sogod ask where the next van to San Ricardo is parked. There is no schedule - vans and buses leave when full to the gills (hence the buy yourself 2 seats advice).
