If you haven't clicked on the free ad we are running for DEMA, by all means please click on it or hit DEMA Survey and spend a couple of minutes taking their poll.

They need the info. You HAVE the info they need. See, it's like a match made in heaven!!!

Sorry Doc....I got all the way up to where they wanted name address yada yada...

I just dont give that out.

I dont see a need for that unless they plan to use it in ways I really dont want them to use it.

No problem for me, I am staying in Southern California for an extended but still not permanent time. I gave them the honest address in California. Since it is temporary and I do not use it for anything important (that stuff goes home to my wife in Virginia) I will not be giving the post office a forwarding address. Viola, a good accurate address that is a dead end.

But I do see your point. I get enough junk mail as it is.

I love it.

Q: Are you from another country?
A: Yes.

I'm finished without having to enter more than being a certified diver... :D

It took until I was 94% complete for me to decide it wasn't worth submitting because of personal info they don't need.

I agree that they shouldn't need personal data just to collect statistical data.
So when it comes to Personal data just fill in CRAP.
(I do this for ALL surveys). It allows them to collect the statistical data
yet not be able to profit from your personal data.

If enough people would enter crap for the personal data, the value
of the personal data would drop and begin to approach zero.
Always keep in mind that bad/incorrect data is much more damaging to
folks that sell data than getting no data at all.

If they are really using it to validate data to prevent multiple postings or
robots from corrupting their data, there are other much better mechnisms
availble to WEB developers to ensure this.
