Nice video, I almost was ran over by one in the Georgia aquarium. Would love to see one in the wild.
Just swam with a 12-footer juvenile Whaleshark last week in Socorro. You may notice people’s trim when they saw it.


Here’s one in Cocos. We just went vertical & looked up as it was above us.

 
This is slightly OT, but very interesting. Do you have any idea why nowadays the hand propulsion technique is not common? I can only guess...
My guess is ever since GoPro’s were in the hands of divers. Especially when you want to film your other hand being cleaned by cleaner shrimps. :wink:
