I am also curious about Camotes. My problem is I would like to go to Malapascua travelling from Bohol. I am travelling with others who don't like that much stressing trips (while normally when I am alone I prefer to visit more places than to rest). So since it seems Camotes is also worth a visit, I could try to leave from Bohol, stop one day in Camotes and sleep there. Then again from Camotes take another boat to Malapascua without stopping in Cebu City and taking a bus.
Do you think this is feasible? I am also searching trips to do overnight so that I sleep in the boat and save one night hotel from Bohol to a Place close to Malapascua, but I didn't find anything

Camotes is the collective name for a group of 4 small islands. Ferry depart from Cebu City and Danao(outside Cebu City) to various places on the islands.
I believe there is still a dive operator on the island since Ocean Deep pulled out. Please contact them for more up to date information because you do not want to catch the wrong ferry. Make sure you dive the Tulang Wall.
Take the early ferry from Tagbilaran eg. Ocean Jet at 06:00 to Cebu City(08:00) and then bus to Maya, follow by ferry across to Malapascua.

Thank you very much Centrals, very precious and precise information :thumb:
