If there is a mass of bubbles obscuring the face....well the best thing is to develop your timing...and take portrait photos when your subject is inhaling, not exhaling

if you created a new layer, with mask, gaussian blur the area selected, but not too strongly and then replace the original layer on top but bring the opacity down to around 70% then the bubbles shouldnt be so easy to see!
