I was certified 10 years ago with a SSI shop in Hampton roads VA. After my cert dive I put off diving due to work. Maybe next week became maybe next month, Next month became next year...
Ten years later I'm finally getting back into the water. Work took me from VA to the Kingdom of Bahrain. I've been here for 5 years and really wish I had gotten back into diving sooner. I did the refresher course and was given the go ahead to continue my open water diving.

I need to get my Advance Open Water cert before I can dive there. It's strictly regulated access right now. I'm looking forward to learning everything I missed out on.
