Looking for a recommendation for a Dive SHop in the DC/VA/MD area that can do a short-notice visual inspection on several AL 80 cylinders. Got a chance to meet some friends at Dutch Springs on Saturday. Anyone have any suggestions?

check with Diver's Source....they were pretty quick to help us out the other week on 6 EANx fills we need'd done. cheap too when you buy the 25 fill card!! here is a link. i dealt with Mike when i went down to drop off the tanks. i was not expecting them until Friday(i drop'd off on a Wednesday) he had called by the time i got back home 3 hours later!!(had other stuff to do while i was out) this was the first time i had any kind of dealings with them and i was impress'd. they are in/around the Deale area. about and hour drive south of the Baltimore area. i hope this is of some help for you.

also, we use Sea Colony for our VIP's and air fills. i dont know that they could rush 'em through for ya. BUT, for a price i am sure anything can get done. 10 fill card is only $30 there. i dont know where abouts in Maryland you are, but me and my dive buddies are in the Glen Burnie area and these are the places that we deal with. again, good luck.

Thanks for the inputs. I found a great place - Brass Anchor Scuba in Frederick. Got the hydro's and the VIPs I needed in less than 24 hours. Super service, great price, and really nice, customer-oriented folks. I would recommend them to anyone

It's pretty hard to beat on-site hydros for turn around time:)

You nailed it, Bro. That's the best Dive Shop in the area. I deal with them exclusively. In fact, I just got back from a fantastic 9-dive trip to Pompano Beach with them today. Terry and Judy are absolutely the best dive pros you'll ever meet. They also happen to be great people.
