I was touched that she said she was down and needed help. It takes a very strong person to say, "I need help".

Very glad to read her message this morning and know that her recovery is progressing. She seems to be one strong, resolute lady who's friends base is vibrant and large.

Thoughts of 100% wellness going out to you, Kimber, from Kearny Mesa.

Right on, Bill.

(Sorry about the boobies, too)

Kimber has already proved to the diving community that she is one tough cookie. Now she gets her chance to show it to the medical community.

I pitty the poor therapist that has her for PT :D

... I thank the Lord Kimber,

Lady Kimber, surely? She's always been a Goddess to me :D

Delighted with latest reports! Doing a little dance here (and believe me, with webbed feet that's bloody hard and it ain't pretty...)

Oh no.. Physical therapists LIVE for patients like Kimber! :) The ones who are ultra-motivated and try their hardest... Those are the BEST!!! :)

i was a great dissapoinment to my physical therapist

he's like, "you don't like coming here, do you?"

i'm like "nah... i love being in pain for an hour to the point of nearly passing out. look forward to it. can't get enough."

I can only respond by saying...WOW. That was powerful and touching. I am so happy to hear she is doing well. I don't know Kimber but have followed her story every day. So, I only know her from what I read on the boards, but I could hear and feel the fight in her today. YOU GO KIMBER. Stay strong! Gather your strength every time you hug and kiss your family and friends. We know you can do it.

I think I'll agree with ScubaPolly here. I don't think that therapist knows how determined Kimber is...yeah the PT and OT will really be motivated because she is, but Rehab is quite a bit different than outpatient PT where you go for a knee injury. There is so much frusturation, relearning tasks you think you should just be able to do...
Kimber, my heart goes out to you, and I know you'll do fine....
Eric (who worked in PT for years and years)
