Yeah I would hate being 'tied' to one place... Beside, for my personal daily living standards, I don't need much. I'd rather be flexible on a 'small' boat than be in one spot, however great that is. Very personal, of course.

I have actually, for many years. Didn't live on it though.

Buy a house on each of several Caribbean islands and just rotate to a different one every 2 or 3 months.

Haha me too. But I haven't found the island yet that offers great skiing AND great year-round diving... Open to suggestions though. Not sure if New Zealand can be baught...
