for the cheapest to overhaul, it's hard to beat any of the Sherwood regs.

Sherwood has gone to pains to be certain that as models change, the parts required for service stay the same - same size o-rings, hp seats, etc...

And the parts kits are cheap for all of the regularly replaced parts. Even the parts which very rarely need to be replaced are quite reasonable (spring, or even the piston).

Any properly trained technician can tune any Sherwood reg to breath very easily at any recreational depth.
