What if I don't pay my PADI DM fees?

So, the thing to do would be stay current in your PADI membership but possibly let your insurance lapse if/when you decide not to work... or do you have to have insurance to keep your membership?

If you never work as a DM nor plan to and therfore have not accumulated to real liability, then save money and do not buy insurance.

If you have worked as a DM and had insurance, you may want to continue your some level of insurance to protect yourself from future law suits related to past activities.
