I was organizing my receipts last night, and I've got about $12,000 invested in my scuba habit just so far in 2004.

I think I could support a crack habit for a lot less than that ... :11:

Sounds like you made a big jump this year.
I thought I was bad.
Ten years ago I got started Gear ran about $1000 I thought I had everything I needed.
Well its been about $1000 a year since. (not including cost of gas, boat charters or equipment maintenance)

Here I am spending a couple of hundred a year on gear and thinking I am bad. Guess not.
