Rite-aid, Menards, Home Depot... and of all places Office Max.

Charlie 99 is correct about the "good" vs. "bad" ones... the gap is the killer and if they aren't tight, they can be worse than worthless.

I have a blue pair that live in my BC pocket, plus I had several other colors that I "gifted" to friends. I keep an orange pair in my Ski Racing backpack for emergencies. I try to carry one or two pair with my gear when I go diving in Monterey in case a "friend" doesn't have any (hence the gifting).

Yeah they rust, but at $2.00 a pop, I can throw them away when they get too nasty. So far I have used the Blue ones for a few years. I clean 'em and lube 'em occasionally.

I like the idea of replacing the rivot with something in Stainless. I will have to cogitate on that. . . . .

Buckeye Public Saftey has 5 pair for 16 bucks with shipping on ebay all the time. They are the good heavy duty ones at 3.20 a pair opposed to the standard ones at 20 bucks a pair.
