Good point, it's also an El Nino year, better fly down to below the hurricane belt :wink:
THIS IS BACKWARDS. In El Nino years, and we are in a good one, there are FEWER hurricanes in the Atlantic/GoM/Caribbean.
 
Another option is Saba. There are usually Caribbean reef sharks and nurse sharks on the pinnacles and along the walls. Plus Saba is home to a large number of adolescent sea turtles. And there are often southern sting rays and the occasional eagle ray. Most hurricanes come through later in the summer, September or October. And while it doesn't have much bearing on whether a hurricane decides to come through, Saba has been exceptionally dry lately, with very little rain even during what should be the rainy season.
