I've seen a few posts recently about people doing the AOW right after their BOW. I recommend at least 20 dives before even looking into it. Hone the new skills you've just learned before piling more on top.
For what it's worth, I had 40 dives before doing my AOW and was very comfortable with my BOW skills so they were second nature to me by then. There were a few in my class who had barely finished their BOW and were struggling with buoyancy while trying to manage a camera, flashlight... etc They seemed to need a lot of extra attention from the instructor and assistants.
