Mine is real orginal as well. I own a heating & COOLing company in BENNington Vermont.

Mine's easy too...I'm from Chicago and I've spent the majority of my life in the water. These legs should be growing into a fin any day now.

Chicago Mermaid

Mr. Creativity here..
I decided to be a little crazy and use my first name and last initial!!! Friends used to call me mj because of all the famous mj's out there... but it is usually taken.

Hey Mermaid... what martial arts are you into?? I cant find a decent school to save my life!!! (could be geography)

I had to dig for about 20 minutes until I found this thread - I know it'd be here someplace.

Sheesh - I need a life.

Glad I didn't start another one. This is a great read.

So seeing as the last post was ages ago, there are surely some new folks that haven't contributed to this yet. I'd like to know.

Step up people...some of these names are killing me....don't make me call you out. I gotta know - and to PM all of you would just take too much time.

Thanks -

Ken

first two initials and last name, nothing too earth shattering, It's just easy to remember in the days of a million and one passwords, log-on names, user profiles etc.

As Homer Simpson would say...BOOOOORRRRRING!

:bonk:

My name here is SAR (search and rescue) medic (paramedic). I am a California OES search manager, and am a paramedic.

My common nickname is hollywood. Not going to say why...

:)

In my circles I've been the diver-boy for some time.

But diverboy was taken, and as member names go here on the scubaboard Diverboy was too generic.

Besides "boy" has nothing to do with the water - you know that magical substance that powers the souls of all divers.

How about the fact that you are a hot babe!!!

ScubaBaby once bubbled...
to understand really!

I like "scuba" (otherwise I wouldnt harrass you lot so much) and "baby" for a few reasons:
1) I am probably the (or of the the) youngest of this crowd!
2) I tend to socialise with people older than me, and where I use to live I had a group of friends that use to call me baby (yes, they were male!)
3) If you swap the 1st 2 letters of my name "a" and "b" you end up with the word b-a-b-y ! So I'll always be a baby even when I am 92! :p

I'm considered some sort of a 'computer-icon' amongst the people I work with. I designed the database systems we use, and get called often and asked numerous tech-related questions.

Most often no matter what they ask, there's an answer (whether its a profoundly inane one or not). So, if you're having a problem, just turn to the good doctor :doctor:.

Note: I'm not a doctor, but I play one in real-life:bonk:
