Like I stated previous the conflict in Yemen is the biggest humanitaian disaster in history .

By far it is not. Sorry we can agree to disagree.. The Holocaust most probably and hopefully will never be topped. In Yemen, out of 100,000 people killed only 12,000 were civilians over the last 8 yrs. Tha'ts only 1500 per year.

The solution to the issue is simple: Turn Iran into glass.

You seem to have access to info that is not readily available to the public except for your observations . And if history serves me correctly the GREAT LEAP FORWARD murdered 45 million Chinese . One person murdered is a tragedy , a million people murdered is a statistic . As a parent one child murdered is too many . Thank you for your reply .

With regards to the great leap forward, noone really knows the true number, which was estimated to be between 15m and 55m. But that was not as a result of genocide, it was a good ol' communist program which resulted in a massive famine.

Welcome to barbarianism (middle east) and welcome to socialism/communism (Russia/China,Venezuela aand Cuba).

Imagine the people in this country who think socialism is good. In my opinion, the only way the democrat party in the us will survive is to kick the socialists out - bernie, aoc, rashida, omar, kamala and the others i am not remembering right now.

Thank you for your reply . I do not acknowledge the cause of death just the results . So once again communism socialism war famine genocide all have the same results death and it is that, that I take issue with .

I am trying my hardest to keep this from becoming a political discussion so I will end with this . Karl Marx stated and I quote ," all that exists deserves to perish ". Let that sink in for a minute then take a look around you . Thank you for your reply .

Problem is, you can not have this conversation without politics and you can not ignore the cause. The one thing I can agree with you on is that even one death is unfortunate, but what can you do about it? You can not expect the USA to be the world police.

Thank you for your reply . I had to revisit what I posted and can find no evidence that I support American intervention ANY WHERE in the world . My original question and I quote ," Why have we not heard about Yemen "? What I have learned from staying up this morning till 3am is the problem in that area of the world ( to me ) is more cultural than political . What Searcaigh made reference to in one of his post is what he observed in Ireland .

If you read that you would have noticed I replied " you mean the orange and the green " in which he replied correct . What I alluded to and what he confirmed was his referencing the struggle between the Protestants and the Catholics in Ireland . That was a violent reaction to religious indifference . So the Middle Eastern theater is a war of cultural and religious indifference .

I do not now nor ever have subscribed to the theory the premise that this war can be brought to a peaceful conclusion through political intervention for history will prove me correct that that mantra has NEVER WORKED and I am sorry to conclude it probably never will . I just had a knee jerk reaction to so many children starving to death through no fault of their own and why we in the west hear so little about it . Thank you for your reply .
