Has anyone used this system to get weight off of your waist and onto to the backplate? Does it flaparound or hug to the backplate? Opinions? Thanks Curt

I found it to be very secure, it did not flop around at all. It holds the weights tight against the plate and out of the way. I had it mounted to a Halcyon CF plate. Works very well. That being said I sold the rig and still have the pockets if you are interested.

They are attached to the backplate with the waist strap connected to the pocket. So while connected to the back plate they still on your waist so to speak.

There is also a version plus a simpler version that attaches directly to the tank bands that are also releasable. If you are not worried about being able to ditch weight there are also trim pockets that attach to the tank bands. Many prefer to attach to the tank bands because then the weight is fully part of the rig. That is what do.
