Yes, I’m not sure if I’ll end up keeping both though. For the price, they really have to be a step up to the current 3 I have.
I’m going to try them out this weekend and I’ll let you all know how they performed.
I have the supernova and very impressed with them over all, would like to try the S Tek but the fin ends won’t be available for a few months.

We will all be very interested. Please show and tell your impressions.
Is it possible to walk on the deck in them (on a flat floor?) Is it convenient to disassemble the fins into parts? Strep lock? Thank you

Disassembling and assembling them was pretty easy tbh, you don’t necessarily need the tool that comes with it but it was free with the purchase and good to have because it comes with 4 extra of the plastic clip that hold the fin together (2 for each side). I was able to do it with a similar/common tool on my multitool. I’m sure there are other tools that can do the same. To remove or add the weights on the fin, you need a 1/8 hex key.

I love my xt’s but if there’s one thing I could change about them is their buoyancy. I would have preferred them to be neutrally buoyant because I’m already far negatively buoyant person.

They are awkward to walk in on a flat floor, especially the s teks, the again what fin isn’t? But they are slightly more awkward, I did find myself putting more weights on my heels naturally when I tried them on. Could be a mental thing then again.

Diving with them this weekend and I’ll keep you posted.

Not sure where you’re located. Non of my lds had them but I was able to get them from diverightinscuba, maybe they can ship them to you before then?

Here’s a link if you need it S-TEK FIN

They are supposed to use the same foot pocket, I was hoping to pick up just the front half, no rush as I’m still using the supernovas most of the time.

No Scubapro Monprene XXL Fins Available.

Nope, I have sent them email about this issue a while back.

I received mine over the weekend, but won’t be able to test them in the water until next week.

I have been diving with the Supernovas for about a year. My impression of those is that they love child of the Go Sports and Novas. Definitely an improvement over the Novas in every way but the center of the blade “pops” from time to time during certain kicks and it feels like I kicked something/someone only to look back and not a thing there.

The S-Teks are way stiffer, They look like a larger(yet far lighter) and bent Jet fin. Jet fins were always uncomfortable for me and their weight was always a problem when traveling. Excess luggage fees in Indonesia can get expensive quickly. I am glad this is an option. Can’t wait to try them out.
