Now everyone who Thanked post #1 remove those. :D

Actually I wasn't really keeping track... I just happened to notice the decline between two successive log ons and thought it odd.

Actually,

when a thread is moved to our back room, the post count for those users WILL decline. However, it takes the server a bit of time to catch up to that. While I am not sure I understand the need to count posts and thanks, I do appreciate that many do. :D We will try to keep your posts/thanks count as accurate as possible.

Pete, I think it is related to the "collector" mentality. We count almost everything... posts, dives, dollars, etc.

Nice tooth, Doc....

Post counts mean something? Since when...??

I just noticed my "thanks" count declined from what it was last night. Does that mean people are posting "no thanks" which are counted against me or did a moderator delete one or two of my posts? And if they did, why would a moderator delete my pearls of wisdom in the first place?

How many thanks did you lose? I notice that you're catching up to NetDoc on Thanks received. Maybe he's trying to keep you in your place..... :14:

Ahem...

This is only the case when a post gets deleted. The thanks count will then be lowered too.
