Does it qualify as an Halcyon if the inflator hose was changed by one that doesn't make you feel like you are asking for something when you want to deflate the wing?
This is 11 ~ 12 years old, still working great, only problem I had was with the inflatable mat I keep in. Don't remember what was the actual issue but they exchanged it for a new one within a year or two from the purchase. Wonder if their customer service is as good as it was back then, I've heard otherwise but fortunately haven't had the need to test it.
How is the wing attached to the plate ?
With two cambands threaded through the slots on the BP and wing.
(Note that the wings are attached to a tank in this picture)
Finally a H that has some usage on it lol! The rest look like they came fresh from the shop without a drop of water on them .
SangP
Does the wing move around or does the tightness of the cam strap to the tank keep it in place ?
That's what Levi's did and it made them a fortune. They gotta be brand new sometimes. Unless perhaps Big H can make a unit that comes pre-faded for that salty look.
Yes, tightness of the cam bands keep it in place.
As I recall, the travel wings should have grommets in their vertical midline webbing.
If you want the wing fixed to your BP, you could always use a set of assembly bolts (sex bolts).
