Hi everyone,

I am a relatively new diver, I actually just joined this board looking for info on Cozumel for a solo trip I was planning for the summer, as well as to meet people and learn as much as I can in the threads. I literally could not believe that I stumbled on this trip. As of right now I have my open water and will have my advanced along with a few additional dives under my belt by the time you guys are headed out to Cozumel.

I would really like to join you. I think it would be a fantastic experience, and trump a solo trip by a huge margin. The reason I'm requesting rather than just going on to the signup is because I am new to this board and out of respect for you guys I think it's just the right thing to do.

If it works out I'd likely stay a second week as well.

We signed up for last year's invasion in April and finished our OW in May(I have done 40 dives and AOW since). The people on the trip last year were great. My wife actually did her OW in Cozumel during the
Invasion 2011.
You should definitely go. It will be much better than going by yourself...and the water is probably a little warmer than Toronto!!

If you're willing to do the bag drag or puddle jumper air from Austin to Cancun is only $426 vs $726 Iah to CZM direct. For a $300/person savings Dub I would go for it. June 30 - July 7.
