I am taking my open water course and I am looking for a computer to make me feel more comfortable in the water, I don't know what to get. I like OLED wrist computers. I plan on becoming a dive master when I'm old enough and want to do nitrox. I plan on diving in places with low and high visibility and light. I like things like the Suunto Eon Steel and the VTX does anyone know if one of these would be good suited for me. Also how is the battery on the VTX?
Thanks for any suggestions!

unlikely to find that many OLED's that fit that bill, but check out the Deepblu Cosmiq and the Seabear now Scubapro H3. About your only options on the market that I'm aware of.

I plan on becoming a dive master when I'm old enough and want to do nitrox. For a watch sized I want it to look good enough for me to wear not just diving and big enough for me to read underwater in ok visibility. For the OLED wrist computer I want a great display with all the information I need plus a compass. Also I would like the computer to be air integrated (wireless except for the cobalt 2)

Thanks for any suggestions!

It doesn't have to be OLED but if it was something I couldn't wear everyday it would have to be OLED

Got anyone who will let you borrow computers to dive with? When I was looking at my first DC I wanted one of the small watch computers. Later, I realized I REALLY wanted the biggest and brightest screen possible.

I'm glad I didn't buy a watch sized computer.

Seabear is interesting because it's kind of "in between" in my opinion.

Check out the Mares Icon HD too. Great computer and they'll be releasing a firmware update to support trimix soon. A keen eye will spot awesome deals.

I own it and love everything about it and am really happy they will be supporting trimix so the computer can grow with me as I progress in diving. With the update it will likely become the best PDC on the market, IMO.

That would be handy if you plan to use Recreational Trimix. If you're thinking of using that for technical trimix diving, I think you'll probably end up wanting a different computer.
