Water is always at 68º

eeeeeek! that's pretty dang cold!

ya know, The Florida Conch's are doing a meet-n-greet (AFTER a dive) on the 19th, we're also diving the Tenneco Towers on the 18th, you could just drive down for the weekend.... I bet the water will be much warmer

That makes quite a bit of a trip, believe me, I'd really like to be there. I had a great time at DeepSeaWolf's Megadive during Halloween and I have plans to go again in Spring. Gas is getting expensive and I can't afford to make 7 hour trips every weekend

I'm looking to get back in the area in February and then again in Spring - hopefully, there will be another meet-n-greet then

Sure will.

NOAAs predicting the water to peak on the 13th and decline below a bankfull by the 15th. If the weather holds out, water level should be low enough for the spring flow to clear up the basin by the 17th or 18th

NOAA still shows the river levels dropping and the weather reports locally look promising for a week without rain

Definately diving on the 18th(Saturday), we're planning to be there at 8AM in the earl-of-morn. Expecting it to be quite chilly, so layer up on the dry clothes and the wet-stuff too

River levels are very promising!
