I was sufficiently inspired by this event, among others, to finally buy an ACR PLB and a Light Monkey canister for it for my upcoming trip to the Flower Gardens.

I've been in Flower Gardens numerous times for 11 years. The Fling charter docks in Freeport, Texas, 20 minutes away from my home. So, it's a weekend playground for me. We usually go down through the anchor line hooked on to Buoy around Flower Garden or Stetson Banks or Oil Rigs. So, we usually pretty save.
