I have been trying to purchase the download kit for my Aeries 750 GT and so far no luck. DiversDiscount shows it on thier site but was just emailed that they no longer had any. Can anyone guide me to a site/online retailer that still has some?

Check E-Bay, that is where I found mine. It came with everything I needed to download the information from the computer to the computer. The only "bad" thing about it is that it uses the same port that my printer in plugged into, so I have to remove the printer and then plug in the downloader.

I have a downloader and software for the 750GT - want to buy it? In general, it gives only basic info, draws a simplistic dive profile, gives no air use info at all - surprising given that it's a $1000 air integrated computer, and it is very slow to load. Anyone think differently?
Not trying to talk you out of buying it, but its not worth the $125 charged for sure. Yours for maybe $50 - I'll pay shipping?

I have written an application that allows the Aeris 750GT software (and the Oceanic DataTrans Plus) software to work on XP... It is just a loader, not a replacement.

Shaun,

Can you make something for the Aeris Atmos II to work with Windows XP?

Thanks,

Will..

I would also be interested in the ap for the Aeris Savant (if it just isn't a blanket patch for all NT-based OS's).

I can program in vb, but I don't think that's what you used to write it. I'll take a look at your patch more once I get back to my computer with Visual Studio.

Thanks for going through the trouble for these folks :D

Do both of these interfaces talked about in this thread use pin type connections or IR type in the nest?
I have a Genesis escort computer and download kit. To get mine to work I just made my PC a dual boot to Win95 and WinXP. I download the information in 95 and run the tracking software in XP. It works good.
Does either the Aeris or the Oceanic software have the ability to modify any of the dive computer settings?

Thanks.

Follow these instructions to get it to work:
1. Download the zip
2. Browse to the folder that Oceanlog is installed in.
3. Rename the current executable so that it begins with an underscore. For the Aeris software, this means change "750gt.exe" to "_750gt.exe". For Oceanic, change "Downloader.exe" to "_Downloader.exe".
4. Extract the contents of the zip into the Oceanlog folder (the same folder that the above EXE was in).
5. If you are using the Aeris software, rename the new "Downloader.exe" to "750GT.exe". If you are using the Oceanic software, leave the exe name as is.

That should be it...

Shaun - I have the Oceanic Data Plus and need a patch for XP. Will your zip file work? I couldn't get it to download from the board to try it.

I am on the scubaboard and I see you have a patch for the 750GT to work with XP. The link that is posted at the bottom of the email is for the attachment but it doesn't download. Could you repost it or email it me at funnyman2k04@yahoo.com. It would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Marty
