That hike is why I often dive single tanks, albeit BIG ones.

Dylan, do you only have doubles now? I saw you dove them at Berryessa.

It looked like a lot of fun in the video, until you showed the hike back to the car. Ugh.

Right, I will not do it everyday !!

Concerning the visibility.... it was between 0 and 4 meters...
Why need good visibility, if there is nothing to see ? !
I had a lot of fun to do it. Maybe i will do it again !:idk:

Peter, they're the only steel tanks I own. I love their buoyancy, I had no weightbelt at Berryessa! I have a pair of Al80 tanks but I want to dive, not bob at the surface like a cork :)

Max depth 40.6'

The hike is really not that bad, a small effort after having such a good time.

Thanks for posting the video! My daughter lives in Folsom and I've threaten to dive Natoma but after talking to a guy at the local dive shop, I was not real serious about it. But now, after seeing your video and the terrific treasures that await an intrepid diver - I may just give it a try.

You have your pick of bikes. I think there are still 2-3 plus and some old fishing poles by the south end of the bridge. Never really much to see but have to keep up with the cans that get dumped. Local dive club does drift dives down from Folsom dam outlet usually in spring summer.

whenever you do it again let me know. i would love to join you guys! Im guessing not till next summer.....

i don't plan to dive this river in the next weeks, but i will not forget to propose it the next time.
thanks for your comments about the video ; it's actually a lot of work to have this 5 final minutes...
