*ahem* Well... It's better than being in the middle of a dive and suddenly needing to assume the Warhammer position. (BLEARGH!!) LOL

P.S. Lagavulin ROCKS!! Nectar of the gods... :)

Yup. She does. Sweet little 16. Man, she is smooth. If it was not only 14:30 hours I'd take her out.

It seems that I offended F_W with my comment about tasting bleach, urinal cakes, running with scissors, and MENSA. No personal insult or attack was intended but it was apparently viewed as such.

without having the context...I´m not too surprised that someone might take offence...

p.s. I like my 14 yo Scapa

Since it's (a) Friday afternoon; and (b) this thread has already been hijacked; and (c) I was so bored -- err, ahead of my work schedule -- that I read the whole thing; then I'll chime in that tequila is the only liquor which takes much longer to grow the original plant (agave cactus isn't ready for 8-10 years) than it does to age the booze itself (the oldest tequila you'll ever need is no more than two or three years old).

I'd also like to claim today's prize for longest, run-on sentence.

actually, other than the improper use of semicolons, your sentence is a fine
one, and not at all a run-on.

it consists of a dependent clause ("Since it's .... the whole thing")
followed by an independent clause ("then I'll chime .... three years old").

a run-on sentence is either a comma splice (two independent clauses
separated by a comma) or a fused sentence (two independent clauses
without separating punctuation).

but (yes, there's a but) you don't want a semicolon between a dependent
and an independent clause. you need two independent clauses to separate
them with a semicolon.
