God help us local divers looking for an air fill or simple repair.[/FONT]

It's a lot of work, but really not all that mysterious, how to stay in business with a SCUBA shop. You just need to run it like a business.

Everything needs to be profitable, whether it's classes or air fills or service. The concept of a "loss leader" is stupid and is just a voluntary slow death.

Unfortunately, this "fact of life" seems to be beyond a lot of shop owners who don't really know what it actually costs to run a class or fill a tank and therefore have no way to know how to price it.

If you want a place to get local air fills and service, you don't need help from God, you just need a place that's well run.

flots.
