PC here. I've heard loads of good things about Macs, but with PC's at work and sometimes having manuscripts that I'll open on both, I like having no conversion issues between the home platform and the work platform (they don't give me any say in what we use at work - heck, we have test stations that are still running TI-990 systems, and they won't listen when we tell them we won't be able to maintain those for much longer).

XP Professional at work.

XP Home edition on the desktop at home (which I rarely use now), and Vista on the laptop.
 
iMac for the desktop and iBook for on the go
 
mac user here both at home and at work, They just dont get bogged down like a pc,
