I am going to be in Beirut the next 5 days and was wondering what the water temps would be like? Are there any sites worth diving in this area? If so any recommendations for dive ops? TIA!

Don't know about water temps but there is some great diving over there.
There is the HMS Victoria, as far as i know this is the worlds only vertical ship wreck, although the stern starts at about 50m. There are alot of wrecks from the various wars they have had over there, do a google search for scuba station beirut, they are meant to be quite good.

Thanks, I looked at the HMS Victoria, at 150m (500ft) depth it definitely looks like a serious tech dive :) I will drop by the scuba station to see what local dive sites they have less 100ft or less. Thanks.
