I am going on the Dive Chicago boat out to the Flora M. Hill on the 25th of June. It will be my first foray into Lake Mich. Since you are in the area why dont you come out and take a dive with us?

This might be a possibility. Only one way to really find out right? The prices arn't that bad for an evenings entertainment. And the fireworks are probably awesome from the lake. :)

I'll check my schedule. After my AOW class last week, I'm batteling a episode of swimmers ear and the doc has me on antibiotics and ear-drops. We'll see how it clears up over the next few days.

Don't take chances with your ears. If you cant make it I will post a report about it. Maybe next time?

The Kohana (Chicago Dive Charter) is a fairly new operation and the crew smokes alot. The Explorer (Dive Chicago) has been around about 13 years, the captain worked the Endeaver boat in Chicago and Len-Der in Milwaukee before he started on his own. No smoking on that boat and the guy has alot of experience both running charters and diving. My girlfriend and I dove with Bob and had a great dive with him on the Straits of Mackinac.

Has anyone used Chicago Dive Charter or Dive Chicago for Lake Michigan diving? (http://www.chicagodivecharter.com, http://www.divechicago.com)

They're both in my backyard and looking for feedback on either operation. TIA.
