Well, I also started with going to the big display Oceanic Pro Plus 2...when that got blurry, I went with the stick on readers, and have now ordered a prescription mask from prescriptiondivemasks.com in San Diego.

Then I discovered my eyes were fine...the computer display flooded and I didn't notice...No, just kidding.

I have not received my new mask, but expect it soon. I will post back how well it does (or does not) help my underwater vision.

As the folks at Prescription Dive Masks say, "25% larger means 25% blurry and larger!" I am expecting good things, but am concerned that the routine 6-10 local vis will defeat the purpose. I also think I may "tether" it to my rig somehow to keep the investment out of the abyss.

I'll let you all know.

Dive Optx stick-on easy readers. Less expensive than prescription lenses. Also, you can adjust where they go; a prescription lens may have the split too high or too low. Also, they say that once you get into reading glasses you need to increase it every few years.

Dan I have similiare problems but have switched to an Aeris computer and have no problems. I agree with 300 d diver, the Oceanic Pro Plus 2 is has large numbers and is back lite for easy reading. Like JMPS mentioned XS Scuba has a "guage reader" and that has helped.

We carry all three of these products and would be happy to assist you as you desire.

Happy Diving
