I'm still on the lookout for the o-ring size, but with my watch back together and working I don't have one for reference. There also seems to be a lack of o-ring specialty places in NYC. Rest assured, if I do come across the size I will be sure to post it here.

Brett, if you kept the old one, we might be able to refer or measure it...

I measured the o-ring in my D9. It's 38-39mm ID and 1.0-1.2mm W.

I was not able to find o-rings in these sizes though. If someone can find them, please let me know.

Also, if you prefer to buy the battery at a local store, RadioShack sells it as CR2450.

I am sure Suunto is using metric O-ring, not Imperial one....

Please double check the size of "W"...

1, 1.2 or 1.5 mm? If W is 1.5 mm, it is easy to find.....

Thanks in advance,

Well, be the judge:

Thanks, but oh~~ Gee
Did you use a stick measure, not a caliper?????

Based on the picture, CS(W) looks more than 2 mm....

If you don't mind, let me ask your favor.

Can you send this O-ring to me? I will measure and find out a right O-ring size.
I can send my address via PM.

Thanks in advance,

I just changed a battery on a D6 for one of our manufacturers reps thinking the whole time what a bummer it was that my calipers were at home so I couldn't even take a measurement of the o-ring. I did take some pictures, not as many as with the D9 battery change but enough to get people a good idea of what the deal is, I'll work over the next few weeks to get something of a how to up for everyone to see.
