Apologies but If you're not a grumpy old man than it's not you! From your posts you seem like a perfectly nice and pleasant guy but there are a number on here who are surly old guys who live to bitch and moan.

So let them "bitch and moan" and move on. No need to comment on it when you can just ignore it.

And for what it is worth, it is not just the board, the world is filled with some angry older people as well as ignorant younger people. You can choose to not respond to both which makes your life much better.

I do not think that being hard to please, having wrong expectations or being spoiled are related to a specific age. And certainly not to the older (60 plus ??) generation.
