SB was a huge mentor when I first started along with my instructors. Then it was the SB FL crowd back when SB was a lot smaller than today. Marvel, Jennie, Brent H, Capt. Gary, and others are people I am in debt-ted to for introducing me to Ocean Diving and taking me under wing. Marvel and Jenny took me on my first Ocean shore dive (2 hours) and Brent on my first deep Ocean dive (100' on the Grove).

Those folk are still around but most no longer use SB.

I now Mentor when I can, and I am still learning. I have spent a lot of time in FL helping newer divers. We spent a month+ in FL for 4 years straight.

In CO not as much as most folks I know have been diving as long as I have. I often miss those times when diving was new, and SB was a smaller community, but we all change...
