Eden Rock can be quite spectacular when the silversides are in and the cruise ships are out.

This is so true. On our second dive there, out toward the northern end of the area (the Eden Rock part) what I believe was the sound from the cruise ships was so unbelievably loud I thought it was about to steam right over the top of us. I quite literally could feel the vibrations in my fins. I have it caught on the videos I took, you can't even hear me breathing it is so loud.

That said, keep an eye on when the cruisers are in and at least stay to the south (Devil's Grotto) side if it gets noisy. Here's a place to see the port schedule:
