and ... whats wrong with making DWADD global ?

Decided it's not fair you guys and gals having a DWADD just for yourselves - so I'm joining your excellent idea - and I've just booked some flights . Alas to your DWADD location flights are a bit pricey - so I'll jump the redeye flight to Philippines instead - exact location there not yet finalised, but I'll be in the warm waters to celebrate DWADD !

WOW! As I was reading this, at first I thought you were going to fly all the way here from Taiwan for DWADD. That would be COOL! Oh well -- you'll be here in spirit. Enjoy the warm waters! Oh, and love the photo. Is that a garden eel?

Hi Leejnd,

Did contemplate a trip over there, but would need a loan to buy the flights - and from here to Manila return just US$200, so flights booked and paid, and just choosing which of the many Philippine dive locations to head for the DWAD 5 days - as 1 day didn't seem enough

Garden eel - nah my Macros not that good, it's a young Moray giving my lens the eye !

Wow - all I can say is Holy Crap. Haven't looked at this for a while. Took me 20 minutes of looking through posts to figure out which Cat Express boat everyone was taking...

For those that come after me:

6:15 out of Long Beach and 3:45 back.
CDS opens at 8:00 at the Dive Park
Catalina Baggage service will haul your gear to and from the Dive Park for a very reasonable fee. Think it's $8 or so. Or cab it for about $12.

Looking forward to seeing last years dive buddies again.
