was wondering if anyone could provide a link or name.
I know of miflex for the braided hoses. But I've seen people use thicker, braided, multi-colored hoses on my local dive boat. Anyone have any idea what brand?

Thanks

Perhaps you're confusing a thicker hose for a standard hose with a mesh wrap.

They just slip on over the hose. This stuff costs about $5 or so.

Given where you live IIRC Dive Gear Express in Pompano sells hoses like that.

thanks. This is exactly it. Kind of seems silly now. Just cosmetic

Just cosmetic

Well not exactly just cosmetic. In theory it's an additional layer of scuff resistant protection for the hoses. In reality I just use these to easily ID my reg set from the others in the pile of reg sets on my living room floor. My daughter and I have the exact same kit and my wife's kit is 90% identical to ours so it makes a little sense. And my daughter likes the pretty colors (she's 21 and still likes the pretty colors, lol).
