failure rate of Scuba equipment and BCD

So remember I said I have never had a gear failure.....despite my checks and the fact I had a fairly new regulator (51 dives) I lost an o-ring on my 100% during my San Francisco Maru dive in Chuuk.... contingency plans and plenty of back gas save the day.

Been diving for more than 10 years, never had an equipment failure.

All of my equipment problems have been the result of user error not equipment failure.

I have over 2000 dives. Never had any failures. But I do stay on top of my equipment with proper maintenance, etc..
