Flying after diving question.

I dive at altitude often, and I live at close to 9000'.

I dive at 5500', and then drive to 8900' within the next few hours. The diving is very conservative (read shallow), so hardly pushing NDL's.

Read the materials presented, and then make up your mind. IMO it's likely safe, but I have to question why you need to fly at 2000' in the first place, and why you are in such a hurry! :D

If the materials are confusing or conflicting, I'd suggest flying lower, but it's likely safe either way with a few hours of off gassing.
