Looks like we'll have a pretty good sized turnout! I suppose I'll be able to identify the 'mystery people' by the pretty blue color of their lips after diving in the 45 degree quarry????
:eyebrow:
Is that a shot at those of us who have to dive wet ?

45 degrees means I won't get much BT...but hey...the plane and bus are close together....hey...I'm having an idea....who's thinking about a "Group Shot on SCUBA" off the starburd wing on the plane? That'd be kinda cool if the viz is good enough for it.

I might get up the gusto to head out to the tubes....but only once....

I had thought about a group shot, and Brian has a new digital camera, so he might be the one to do it. I'll have my 35mm along, and the strobe is compatible with Brians. We could rig both strobes to make sure we have plenty of light and fire away!

OK! Group photo at noon or so on Saturday, before we 'pig out' and open the beers! Everyone plan on getting wet about noontime for the photo!!!!!

We have to get WET? Brrrrrrrrrrrr.I'll bring my digital camera too. Do we need a tripod?
about the potluck, I am thinking about bringing two desserts, my Death By Chocolate and then also a lower calorie dessert since so many of us are in on the Scuba Board Fitness Challenge. Have the paper products all ready to go

...and would like you to bring about 50 gallons of the 'death by chocolate' dessert! Two words that should never be used in the same breath is 'low calorie' and 'dessert' (I guess that's three words, but you get the idea). I suspect that I'll show a little gain next week, after a weekend of eating 'guy food' and drinking beer. Go figure!!!

I will see what I can do! (But the lower calorie dessert is not too bad either)

frankenmuth_tom:
Bring something to add into the potluck (like a bucket of chicken or something) and welcome!

Thanks, looking forward to it.

Does that Bucket O' Chicken need to be Lo Cal? :06:

Or can we count on the cold water diving burning extra calories to make up for the Pot luck?

You guys will just have to start with the veggie trays then work your way to the high calorie stuff, if you're full of veggies you can't over eat right?

45...? Thats kinda generous. Last saturday me and bro did two dives... 33 down beyond the tubes and 40 in the shallows.

Mental note: put gloves on before entering the water. Its wickedly cold...

I'm doing the low-carb thing so I'll bring a few muchies that fall on the plan; almonds, cheesecake, roast beef wraps, water & sodas.
