Riding on your magic mat?

I'm so bummed.

I mean, 2005 was the year I decided to throw myself into shore diving, and I dive 5 or 10-1 these days shore to boat.

So I wanted a roll up SoCal shore divers mat.

I wanted a Dive 'n Surf mat.

So I go to D&S a few months ago and ask after one. This is like the 3rd time I've walked around the place and couldn't find them. The chick at the front told me they were out. As in OUT FOREVER. The factory that made them was washed away by the Tsumani. When I shared this with Claudette, she gave me one of hers. How cool is that??!!

I feel like such a beach diver now.

PS: I wanna go shoot some Nudis with the new rig at ML. However, no way I'm taking this thing in over the rocks at Long Point. Put us on some Nudis on Sat, please !

Frank O is bring his big camera Saturday. It was a mill pond yesterday, and the Santanas are here for a few more days, so it should only get better.
