Doesn't anyone work for a living anymore?
This is one of the most active threads I've seen (except for that great ongoing DIR/Non-DIR fight going on) in a while.

People must be bored

As a matter of fact, what am I doing here?

.."Benji" was fimed in my hometown...and "Rocky Horror Picture Show" takes place in my home town as well..and that movie "Daddy's Dyin' who's Got the Will"... it was filmed here too..

That's reserved (and I mean really reserved) for when I get tired of snoopin around SB.......

Speaking of Lassie.... I saw a border collie given the gears to a rottweiller this past weekend.... that should make for some interesting puppies.....

Dance to... The Time Warp... Agaaaaain!

It's just a jump... To the left...

Seen it 79 times. :D

Here in Beaufort, amongst others, they filmed:

The Big Chill
The Great Santini
The Prince of Tides (in this one, that's my 2nd cousin's shrimp boat, and my great uncle's dock)
And even Forrest Gump. :)

Run, SeaJay, run!

"Scuba is as scuba does, sir."

You know what's a funny word? "Hobo".
Now that I think about it...so is "limit"
Say "dork" over and over..that's weird too.
Who gets to make up words and decide if a word is really a word? I didn't elect them!
New word time!

Funny... I actually took a semester to study that exact question. The class was called "linguistics."

Really interesting stuff. Think about our recent incarnations:

Fax
Email
BandAid
Kleenex
Viagra
Corolla
Gnarly
Flop
Scud
Hummer
Zip
"like"

I call we make one up... Uhhhh... How 'bout "schloot?" What, exactly, is "schloot?"

..I bet you have a pair or two of fishnet stockings hanging over the shower curtain rod.. .
Yeah check out the first scene after the wedding in front of the church. In the background you'll see a sign that says, " Denton, the town with a Heart"..or something like that. . and Doctor Scott ( the proff in a wheelchair ) is a proff at my alma mater. University of North Texas( which used to be North Texas State Univ. back when the film was made) I heard they threw a dart at a map to choose the location..don't know if it's true or not. ..I loved The Great Santini.

Hey Paul...try this: say "Hee Haw" over and over. After a few reps it starts to sound like "Haw Hee" this one used to keep me busy for hours as a kid.....Sheesh! will five o clock ever get here?..
