I am thinking to make one, a cross of a freedom plate and a vintage plate,
I like both styles,

Yes I do use a vintage plastic,,,
But not a fan of it. Handle gets in the way,

The freedom plate is exclusively for single tank diving

I don't like it that secure.
My shoulder straps on the harness began to slip while using doubles. I found the serrated tri-glides (at the lower part of the plate) prevented further movement. I prefer the Halcyon O-ring, since it can be also used to hold the inflator (using bolt snap) to the D-ring when using sidemount. And yes, I also pull the inflator down through the O-ring as in the picture.
